east coast trail - pouch cove

and so on monday, with the threat of 'irene' in the air, we loaded our packs and headed to pouch cove! the sky looked nasty to the south, but nothing ever materialized!

we were out hiking for 4 hours - and it was spectacular - again!

once we got back and cleaned up, we WALKED into town for pizza - mmmmmmmmmmm! and then WALKED home, with the only thing keeping me going was a 40$ chunk of dark chocolate almond bark in the fridge . . .
