fort amherst to cape spear

thursday was another gorgeous day, so i planned on doing 'the big hike'. tone dropped us off at fort amherst, and we eventually wanted to get over to cape spear - about 14k away. i'm not sure andreaaa knew quite what she was getting herself into, although she was a bit nervous when tone mentioned there would be a 'few hills' ...

the first climb just about killed her, but once she got to the top and saw the views, she kinda forgave me ...

outstanding! we did it in 6 hours! see now, wasn't it worth it ?!!!

later we visited dave at the hospital. he was still feeling good and was eating up a storm! the effects of the chemo hadn't settled in yet.

did i mention how much i love this guy ...
