tuesday morning at the gym i saw my amazing buddy jose trying these, so i figured i'd give it a go. no injuries were incurred ...
the mighty one refuses to turn the heat on at cfb, so we're all resorting to ghetto tactics to stay warm. toddy says it looks like i just walked in off the street and started squatting ...
and as of wednesday night i still didn't have water at the farm. i was contemplating what to do when i received a call from momma nardella all the way from arizona. it went kinda like this. 'what the fuck are you still doing at that place? you have no heat and no water (i did actually have heat) and i won't have my favorite daughter (i'm not really one of hers, but she still calls me her favorite) living like that! pack up some stuff and get over to the house NOW!!!' and knowing better than to argue with mum, i did as i was told. so now i'm 'slumming' it with sarah: heated floors, 2 dishwashers, a spa, a hot tub, heat by just flipping a switch, a sauna, lots of warm water - shit, i may never leave!
that's just the tub ...
saturday was a beauty of a day! i headed into palgrave for a couple of hours. trails were fairly well packed down so i didn't need the dions.
bliss ...
sunday mass with father jimmy was INSANE this week! there were so many people he had to scrap the planned workout and make up one that would accommodate all of us. it was NASTY! when the last rep was counted, i had done 100 front squats at 95lbs! OUTSTANDING! i really love these types of workouts - leaving with the feeling that you won't walk for 2 days!! thanks fucker!!!!
and just because i felt like it, i rounded out the weekend with an hour plod through deep snow on the humber valley trail.
and i leave you with this ...
