thanks to these people, i am able to keep relatively sane!
so here are a few shots from the farm. my two guard dawgs - jackson and sienna. just try coming into my place uninvited ...
my balcony - can you say spoiled ...
from the living room - if you look to the left you can see 'mister ed' ...
another shot of the balcony off my bedroom ...
i'm pretty sure i'll get used to this though ...
and of course, my favorite form of therapy - my trails ...
pulled on the hokas saturday and headed up k2, through glen haffy and north of 9 for a couple hours of dirt running.
love milkweed. reminds me of walks with my brother ken back in peterborough.
saturday night was kind of a pylon reunion! the captain's wife threw a retirement party - 30 years on the fire department - and actually invited us clowns! even bart and laaaaadies man showed up! can't believe moonie kept his pants on all night ...
ohmygawd! sunday mass just about killed me. did some REALLY heavy deadlifts with my awesome friend lisa - 36 of the suckers at 225lbs. man my back was tight after that!!!
because my cuz karen lives 'north' of 7, i readily agreed to make the trip to barrie for an amazing turkey dinner cooked by her hubby jeff! after stuffing myself with way too much food, i rolled away from the table and just hung out there for awhile! love that we've stayed connected!
and finally, went back into cfb monday morning for some snatch practice and thrusters with the boys!
i leave you with this - kind of applies to a lot of things in my life ...
happy turkey day !!!
Looks like a very nice place! Hope you're settling in.
